welcome to the most relaxing art of the planet
Made by CHIERCHIA GERARDO 3d artist .
I come from Art school in Salerno Italy diploma in Ceramic and late from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin Italy degree in Stage Designer ...
After many years in the theater as a set designer, I have had experience as interior decorator,
mural painter, decorator and painter of stage sets around the world for many years, since 93 I am living in Australia
where I Graduate from Chase college of Graphic Designer in Computer and Graphics and certificate in Information Technology ( computing and Multimedia).
been working for the Australian Opera as set painter and props maker...
in the mean time I had my own art company in murals maker and interior decoration...
I have recently stumbled upon this beautiful and unique painting technique,
Since then I dedicated myself to this wonderful art. there is a little reminder of the old techniques used in murals called trompe l'oeil (French: eye trick),
which technique was already used in the time of the Renaissance by many artist. Here, with this technique, the eye is really confusing ,
sending to the brain and heart the wrong message ....
"Melbourne-based artist Chierchia Gerardo produces unusual three-dimensional works of art with acrylics and epoxy resin that could be easily passed off as photographs. Using a technique pioneered by Japanese painter Riusuke Fukahori, Chierchia manages to produce the illusion of different animals swimming in water by pouring resin into a bowl and then painting on top of it with acrylics, layer by layer."

The stunning three-dimensional paintings were created by a Beijing-based artist, who used layers of resin and paint to create depth. The painstaking process sees the artist begin with a thin layer of resin, which he then paints fish onto using acrylic. 3D Painting Of Fish In Resin.
